In July we made a quick trip up into New York's Adirondack Park. Along a small two-lane state route I passed this pair of old Mack Dump Trucks that seem to be the model depicted with Lesney's 28D. I had often wondered about scale on these and wow, they are big tall trucks! The Mack logo was affixed to the doors.

Re: 28D Mack Dump Truck
Thank's Greg, love big Trucks, but it seems nobody is loving those anymore, such a crying shame these have been set out to pasture. Machinary such as this is sure to be of such low mileage as they don't really go that far, they tend to stay on the building sites where they work, so buying one and restoring it must be the best thing anyone can do for them, as the mechanicals would not need much work to get them up and running again, so sad!
