I only have these 3 1/43 Ro80s - the Dinky is the poor relation!!Fred7A wrote:That Ro80 is indeed nice. The Ro80 was a popular subject with European diecast producers in 1/43 scale - how many of the other makes do you have? It would be interesting to see some of them compared.

£15 total for these new local fleamarket finds. I dont normally have anything to do with trains however the MZ loco has great local significance as I live less than a mile from the sole Danish loco workshops where so many MZs have been stored over the years as well as passing by for servicing.........
Russian Police Moskvich has one chip, a great addition to my collection of Police cars......... K17 cab has K17 cast on base, its earliest issue i have........

Re: New in my collection !
Thanks for your picture of the NSUs.
The Moskvitch police car is nice. The Russians have certainly got good mileage from that casting, as they've been making them since the 1970s (is it still being produced?). There was definitely some "inspiration" from the French Dinky model, although the Dinky was based on the earlier 408 with vertical tail lights, and the Russian models have separate plated bumpers and grille (apart from the very first examples). The number of variations produced over the years must be truly immense!

Nice Yellow Norev Renault R8, shame the glazing and seats have gone missing and I particularly like the Red Bentley 3 Ltr 'Road Car' #9002. If you can not find a roof for it, you could fit one from the later 1986 re-issued casting, but they only remoulded the folded hood, not the erect hood as originally fitted to #9002.

Mick it is hard to tell from the image but are those 'T cut' labels on the SF#57? If so a nice find.

Norev Baby series was low budget made without windows at the end of the 1960s to compete with Matchbox for pocket money - this one is mint!GHOSTHUNTER wrote:Nice Yellow Norev Renault R8, shame the glazing and seats have gone missing and I particularly like the Red Bentley 3 Ltr 'Road Car' #9002. Re: New in my collection !
no unfortunately but for less than £2 with just minor high edge paintwear it was too good to leave for kids! The Tekno cement mixer is worth more than I paid for the whole lot so it was a good daymotorman wrote:Mick it is hard to tell from the image but are those 'T cut' labels on the SF#57?
