Recently received this and I believe the decals are replacements.
When compared to my other models the font is much thinner.
The paintwork appears original have seen similar models without decals, so thinking replacements have been added.
Welcome any advice.
Thanks

Hi Rodger,
I think these are replacement decals. Is the text raised like on the original when you run your fingers gently over them?
Cheers,
Gavin

Replacement, it is the wrong font style, look at the 'R', 'A' and 'S' letters.

Thanks everyone - confirmed what I suspected.
Gavin, much smoother feel on text unlike my originals.
What do you think - leave or gently remove replacements?

I would leave the decals as they are as it is a good example of what is out there and it shows other collectors what to look for when the same subject crops-up in the near future, if you remove the decals and someone else asks the question you can only comment about it, if you also have the model then there is the evidence, just my own view.
