Hello Ghosty,
Here's the shots, 1 x from the front, 2 x from above and 1 x from the side.
Hard to pick up when viewed from the front to my eye but much easier to see from the shots above and the side.

Knowing this model was introduced during 1976 and deleted during 1981, does not give it a particularly long productuion period, but this model did find it's way into Brazilian production and many of those show similar casting protrusions on the top corner of the front wings (Fender).
It does look like typical tool ware that has caused those ridges to appear and while I do not know for sure (maybe Christian does), the tooling may have been damaged in Brazil allowing surplus metal to leak through the damaged area, before it came back to the UK for the final production batches.
Does it have the 'Triangular' pattern at the back of the model by the base tab insert, which would make it of late production.
