The difference between a non raised (better a lowerd one) and raised ejector(atleast 1 mm) ring is for me a variation. Maybey for others not.
If I find my other ones I will try to find out more.
The ones with thick wheels have a reased ejector ring. The ones with thin wheels a non raised ejector ring. Maybey somebody can check them with their models.

My turqouise with red cabine has no cast detail and a smooth ejector ring.

hello Kurt,
given the difference in the height of the ring [which i had not previously considered] then I would say that rules out tool wear so is probably legitimate as a variation in the casting.
thanks for pointing that out.
I've sold off a few of my models and I'm not sure exactly how many I have left to compare but there would be 3 or 4 from [fading] memory.
