Hi,

today I received one of my "childhood-heros" as a beater without window frame and missing sparewheel.
Let´s see what to do with this one.

Hi Tinman,

thats a nice one but I thought about a civil version.
Did you use O-Rings as tires?

Yes, I replaced the larger standard hubs for smaller, more accurate size hubs from a hay trailer. I was out of the smaller size tires and resorted to the "universal" tire ... o-rings.

Nice restoration, now another Jeep is back in action and I know some collectors are prepaired to pay good Money for the sort of models we are seeing in this thread, as they do not have the skills to do it themselves and would like to have the model, so in a way you are making models that are very likely going to have some Monetary gain for you.

Thanks Kevin.

If someone is interested in making a custom or a repaint he can send me a PM and we can talk about it.

Hi,

here two pics of my August-news.
Bought them together for 8 Euros at a house-fleamarket during our holiday at East-Germany.
The Mustang was in bad condition - it received new color.
