Ok, but what exactly is wrong with this tractor ?

I never bothered to inspect the tractor. Most of what he sells has reproduction decals, switched wheels, switched bases or is a repainted fake. He has sold many items and never mailed the model. He's used bait and switch. He's lied, cheated and stolen our money too many times to even bother discussing one of his models. Now days, I just post random warnings to avoid this person at all cost.

I'd say you would have to inspect the axle ends closely to be sure, which is not really possible in the pictures posted in that auction.

I have no hard evidence, but I believe he is working with a small group of other sellers of this "type" in Florida.

Just a hunch from some of the various listings I've seen...
