there are a few model variations that are so obscure nobody knows about it. That's why I missed this forum with all the rare ones that pop up.
i know quite a few people use ramsays for a price guide ,when i first started collecting it was the price bible,but prices vary for the same item ,it really depends where its sold,actually i think ebay has missed a trick there,with all its completed listing data it could produce a accurate price guide for buying and selling via ebay or even a book with top 100 priced diecasts ,or tinplates ,etc they would make nice christmas presents .
i use an old ramsays for a rough guide to rarity but you are right about some of the variations not mentioned the lesney 17e horsebox was missing for many years in the regular section :D
