Among a large collection of Models of Yesteryear that included a lot of pre-pros, we found a Y-42 Albion similar to the production version, except it is all styrene plastic, not resin. Is this the appropriate forum to post pictures of this and discuss? I would like to know the history of this model, such as where this would be placed in the process of the development stage. I am wondering if this is one of the first prototypes.
thanks,
Bob

Hi Bob
long time no chat since the MCCH days. I do know they trialled the Y2-4 Bentley in plastic as its possible to cast a plastic model in a metal mould but not vice versa so this may well be a trial of the mould and would place it after a resin mock up. It may also be a original mock up for the model made by the model maker/designer. If you have photos it would help.
