Hello tinman,
that is a lot of green !! But they look fantastic.
Have always admired customs and it seem such a great way to preserve the write off's.
I have just started to explore making my own 'one of's' by taking totally trashed commons and mixing and matching parts such as toe joe with 8 wheel crane boom.
Yesterday I bought a mini sand blaster gun that connects to my mini spray paint compressor and it's great for removing rust on wheel axles and of course removing the old paint. I found it works exceptionally well on old rusty scaletrix tracks as well including the joining pin areas at the ends of the track.

When I get more free time I'll have a go at some custom repaints with various slide on transfers.

regards,
steve

I was kidding with that comment. Everyone knows we steal our ideas from Andy Mc Coy and then claim we thought of it first.
