ESSO Unimog and more models

Post by Tinman »

I finished up the ESSO Exploration Unimog and a few others along with it

Metallic blue with early decals.

The completed ESSO Unimog.

A nice sugar truck that had a missing tank end and lots of missing paint/decals.

A cream commer with the hard-to-find stripped decal.

Some youngster had painted over this Nestle's van several times, it was a mess.

I made this 4b, with the very hard to find gray plastic wheels, from a Matchbox Originals tractor. I removed the fenders and repainted the tractor and driver. The wheels came from a 2b with a missing dumper bed.

Awesome work here. ESSO is cool, I prefer Shell though. Maybe self interest.

I like the Unimog very much.
I got one which I think will be painted exactly the same if you don´t mind.

Hi,

the tires and rims you used on the Unimog are the same as on a K-8 Car-Transporter?

Yep, or same as the Mack dump truck or the Hatra tractor shovel or the M4 hopper train or the ...
