Last saturday I went to the swapmeet at Houten and as promissed here I took a photo of the stand from Belgium seller Michelline who bought a lot of the new Dinky models.
The series is for sale for aprox 2 years now I think and at least a 50 models I quess and also 2 different wooden displays and nice giftsets.
Here is what she brought saturday oct 19th.
They are defiinitivly linked to Mattel. I have had several of these models in hands for many times.

I spoke with a collector of this series and thinks the models to be included in this series in the UK are different.
At least your 1st Mini Van was not released sofar here.

More photos of the Houten swapmeet were posted here:

Cheers for that,i did it over email and get just the mini but if i take the sports car collection mentioned elsewhere on there web i get 2 cars being the Aston Martin and E Type Jag for £2.99

To be honest i am looking forward to see how good or bad they are and for the sake of a couple or three quid a week it is not a high price to pay these days.

The Atlas Dinky's are nice. They are not made with the original moulds but with new computerised ways to copy.
Some details like axels may differ . They are made for Norev in China under licence from Mattel , who owns the rights on "Dinky Toys ". Some have already appeared as Dan Toys ( for example the Citroen Laitier).

Of course it is important that it is clear that they are not the originals, but the baseplate makes that clear.

A nice touch is that Atlas tries to make copies of "special " originals like the Cibie van , the Simca Taxi (other type Aronde , see picture )or a rare colour Peugeot Familiale.

I prefer the originals too , but they are a nice alternative.

New models expected from 'ATLAS EDITIONS' will be several models from the period we had opening parts, index plates and those 'Jeweled' headlamps. One of the models I will be interested in getting is the Vauxhall Victor 101, but other cars will include Triumph, Mini and Volvo P1800. These are being marketed in what Atlas call their 'Deluxe' Dinky Toys.

I'm flattered to see here one of my first pictures of my collection.
I forgave this collection because of quality problems.
