Have you still got it and what does it look like now?

Long gone now, which is probably just as well! I see from your other thread on this model that the mascot changed during its time in production, so my white version is now probably incorrect! Oh well, it isn't likely to be up for sale...

Correct Fred, the mascot on the White version is different to the mascot on the deep Red version, so you inadvertently created a model to fox the new owner when he gets several together...

The 15th June was the Maidenhead club night and they held another one of their 'Mini Toy Fairs' for the evening and I picked up this beater #44a Silver Cloud because the Grey Plastic Wheels looked darker than my other examples, the only problem is that the previous owner has for some reason painted the wheels in what looks like a Matt Black paint. I have posted pictures on Tinman's Restoration thread for advice and if I can get them cleaned up I can then do a proper comparison of the shades of Grey, but the model is another 'Transitional' type where it has the new plastic wheels but it still has the 'Crimped' Axle-Ends and these are not that easy to find and it was less than £2.

If these wheels are darker than my other examples, I think this makes 18 versions of this model are in my collection... :!:

NEC Birmingham has been and gone, did not see too many forum members, but those I did meet were a welcome sight and they always give me light relief from my normal long hard Days.

I was after my usual Five or Six variations on Corgi and Matchbox Rolls-Royce models and yet again they were not there, so are still missing from my collection!

I have added a few models, Two very new Bentley models at the back of the picture in their boxes, Three £1 each 'Yesteryears', a Mettoy Silver Wraith in Black plastic, a #24c 'Regular Wheel' for £3, Two French 'CLE' (Belle Epoque versions), plastic Packard and Mercedes SSK, a Free gift Y-6 Rolls-Royce 'Fire Engine' (with just the Y-7 on the base), and the real star I was very happy to find, the Corgi Juniors Aston Martin in Lime Green.

Thank you Alex. I have to buy something at every toy fair I go to, the Day I come home empty handed will be it, I'll hang up my modelling hat and forget all about it, won't ever go again.
