Just got a pullmore 582 6 rivet version and it needs 6 tyres i cant seem to find definite size or indeed supplier for tyres if they are 18mm as one scource said ,one of headlights snapped off grill but package included a new grill is this easy to change over.

Hi Mate,
The 582 982 wears plain black 17mm tyres like these;

That 6 rivet is pretty HTF, being one of the first batch made, by a Meccano sub contractor in Smethwick I think, as Meccano didn't do Aluminium casting in house at that point.

Great job Darren. However, I guess the tyres on your trailer are 15mm, as you probably found it (the one on the left). They should be 18mm (the one on the right) in diameter.


This was taken from another thread re the pullmore , are the trailor tyres different than on the truck unit.

replaced an all light blue.

As for the six rivet, am in the process of restoring my second one.
I need to know what the actual colour is supposed to be

Nice selection of car transporters there. The version with mid blue trailer is my favourite, and not easy to find.
