Today's find

Post by tjlglass »

Went into an old Antiques shop that I often pop into to see if he has any old toys and he got this little lot (plus others) out of the back store room. Wasn't cheap and had to use both my debit cards in the machine, but I'm quite happy with this lot, there are a few I still need to identify.

Some serious Pre War kit there mate,
I reckon you got a bargain? Lovely 28/2, one of the few I've got.
I'm interested in the 24 Series if you want to move em on?

Not what I collect, but even I can tell that there's some good stuff there. What's the fatigue like (on those which haven't already snapped in half)?

Tim, hope you don't mind, for clarity I've put some extra brightness and a tiny bit of cropping to your picture.

Amazing what still turns up -it looks like they may all have belonged to one boy born circa 1930!

As normal Hugh there is some fatigue with some better than others.
