As it happens I have a quite a few of the original Desert Art series 12 back blister packs. I loved them when they came out and couldnt resist buying some including the rare "Lizzie"

Don't forget Sarge which was pulled due to the lead paint scare. I recently found a model with a package "Super Chase" not seen this before so still learning.

I've never looked into a website. I am guessing there has to be one. Davie Weise worked on the line for the original Cars models before going to the Matchbox line. I sure do miss hi,m. He is really a die cast lover.

Gave up in the end but have a few of the rare ones... got into them as my grandson was keen on them so I started buying 2 of everything - one for him and one for me!

To be honest Ian I wouldn't know what is rare or what isn't.

I got the "Blu-Ray" Lightning McQueen for both of us - See this article

This Article has a list ofthe top 10 most rare but it appears pretty subjective... and this earlier article gives some insight into the complexities of collecting and how significantly a "collection" will grow depending on how you collect!

And finally for this morning (its 9:30am in NZ) we have this more up to date list from 2013...
