YY display
YY display
Hi all, Is this an original or a copy . I cant see made in England on it so I imagine its a copy. Thanks in advance
Re: YY display
Its a copy - made by MICA a few years ago. Came with model details on the bottom ( like yours) or just blank. Still looks good loaded up.
Wouldn't have 'Made in England' on as it is a copy of a Fred Bronner version (USA)

Thanks Mick , I thought so . I only paid $20 so i'm happy with it . I am amazed at the price being asked for these early models .

Re: YY display
I finally managed to sign up again on this new platform. I hope most of the info of the Levora platform was saved.
As bob stated your display is a copy.
There are many more differences. The drawing is different as is the header. Also the nbrs are not totally centrated.
See this picture. The original is on the left, the copy is on the right.
Here are the 2 different MICA copies made (one with and one without nbrs)

No the range started in 1956 with 3 models only.mrmoko wrote:Would I be correct in saying this is copied from a 1956 display ? Gaz
As this display is for 9 models the display was for 1958.
In 1959 these kind of displays got an extra row for a futher 3 models as the range was expanded to 12 models.
1958
1959
