Never seen a Lesney red that covers so poorly - looks like an over sprayed white one

I am sure if you look close enough you will be able to see the original white paint coming through the thin top coat of paint. In the image below you can see a raised edge that is clearly white, unless i am mistaken.

I thought the roof looked odd, but was not sure what might be the cause. Seems like if you are going to go to the trouble of re-painting, you would use sufficient paint.motorman wrote:I am sure if you look close enough you will be able to see the original white paint coming through the thin top coat of paint. Kevin........If you have paid good money for these on the basis that they were Prepros and the seller sold them as such, you may have good grounds to go back and seek a refund in my opinion. You can let the seller know that you have have sought independant advice on the validity of each of the 3 "Prepros" you have shown to the forum and the overall concensus is that they are repainted customs. Just a thought.

No money has changed hands, I basically inherited these. It was fun while I thought they were pre-pros though!motorman wrote:Kevin........If you have paid good money for these on the basis that they were Prepros and the seller sold them as such, you may have good grounds to go back and seek a refund in my opinion.
