Hello!

Hello everyone!

Newbie here but some will remember me from other forums :)

Will start my posts with this one, a find at the NEC Toy Fair last year, not bad for £2 I'm sure you'll agree :)

Welcome to the forum Superfastkid.

Amber glazing, now you don't see many of them, in fact I have never seen one. Is it genuine do you think, rivets and signs of base removal will be crucial here and so far they look OK on the picture you have posted, but there are more informed 'Juniors' experts here who will give us their views, thanks for showing this and making it a good start to your visit here... :D

Hi Ghosthunter

Thanks for the kind welcome :) Looked to be some awesome posts and great finds on here, had to join in!

It appears to be genuine, no obvious signs of tampering, just stood out like a sore thumb on the stall and it had to come home with me, happy to take more photos if needed....

Cheers

Hi motorman,

Thanks for the kind welcome, You are correct! I do have a keen interest in the Superfast era Matchbox so hopefully I can post a few photos over there soon....have a few regular wheels too but only pick them up when I spot a rarity ;)

Find the sheer number of variations on the Juniors intriguing, had some fantastic finds over the years and will share some more photos soon :)

Found a couple of nice items at the Kidlington Toy Fair today as it happens...

Cheers

I have only ever seen this window unit in any colour other than blue before- this must be some sort of factory trial or amber glazing would have shown up before. Did you find it anywhere near Wales and the area where ex corgi people and their families live...........

I have been to Kidlington, its in my 'neck of the woods' and secured several models in the past and had intended to go again, so maybe we can meet up in the near future at this event, I'll let you know by 'Personal Message' and announce it in the 'Toy Fair' thread.
