Ah here we go, just found my 'Boys own book of Rolls-Royce cars'...both cars in the last Two pictures are very close in their specification and if I could see the rear of the car in Bob's picture it would move the car one way or the other closer to the White car.

Both cars were built after October 1969, the White car has the bigger wing marker lamps introduced during 1970 but the reversing lamps are still on the boot lid, these were moved into the main light cluster during 1972.

The Red and White car according to Bob was built in 1971 and first registered in Jan 1972, it still has the front facing air-vents under the headlamps, these were removed during 1973 (dating this car pre-73), but it does not have fog lamps (optional upto 1973, standard after 1973), and I can not see any rear seat headrests, these were fitted as standard after 1973.

So, both cars as I said earlier are very similar and more pictures of the interior, could tie them down even further.

Thank's Guys for those.

I took this picture one months ago when I had a short trip to Berlin.

Without being an expert...I think this one is a bit older...isn't it Ghosty? :)

Thank you Linus.
It is a bit older than the Silver Shadows above. This is an experimental sporting Phantom I, from 1925. This car was the original Prototype, but Three more similar cars were built as test vehicles, but it was never put into production.

You may have heard the story about the grille badge colours of early Rolls-Royce cars, this one has a Red grille badge, changing to Black during 1933, the same Year Sir Henry Royce died and many resources will say the colour was changed in respect of the occasion, it wasn't, it was decided Black goes with any colour chosen by customers for the coachwork, Red did not.

Oh dear, someone had to find one of these for me...

...this big brute is a post-98 Rolls-Royce Phantom, the product of a BMW owned company based within the Goodwood race circuit. Packed with tech, this car instantly became famous for having the largest road wheels (21 inches), of any production car on British roads and during motion, the central 'R-R' emblem on the hub-cap, stayed in an upright stance, a modern take on the differential plates on original 1920's American made cars with the 'R-R' emblem slightly canted to one side to account for the camber of their roads!!

OK, in the number order...

2, This appears to be a 6 light limousine by Hooper on the 20-25 HP chassis from early 1931.
3, A Barker 'Barrel' sided tourer on the 20 HP chassis from around 1925.
4, A 1952 Silver Wraith with body by Freestone & Webb.
5, A Silver Cloud standard 4 door saloon, date unknown but if this is a Series I car it will be 1955-59, Series II car from 1959-1962.
6, A Phantom VI, H.J. Mulliner Park Ward limousine from the mid-late 70's.
7, A post-81 Silver Shadow II standard 4 door saloon.
8, A Silver Spirit standard 4 door saloon from 1980-81.
9, A Mid-90's Silver Spur.
10, and something from BMW...!

...ouch that hurts!!
