Matchbox 1-75 Regular Wheel #25 Dunlop Van
Hello to all. I am trying my best to catalogue each of my models but a few that I have come across have me puzzled. I have a blue Dunlop van with black plastic wheels and shiny black base. The truck has domed and rounded axles and the wheels look like a fine tread to me (36?). I have found pictures or reference for these with knobbly black wheels, but not fine and was hoping someone might be able to provide some insight on this. Thank you from a new member.

Re: 25 Dunlop Van
Hello stillhavnfun, welcome to the forum and a bit of a puzzle you have given us! I don't recognize the model from your description, others here may do, but see if you can get some sort of picture for us, even if it is a dark picture we can lighten it for you, just try and keep the camera or smart phone steady so the picture is sharp. When its loaded onto your computer, you can upload directly into the forum by clicking on the 'Upload attachment' tab to the lower left of the reply box once you are ready to type something, you may have seen it there as you wrote your first "Hello to all" to the forum, it is there. Click on that and it will open the pictures folder on your computer and just click on the picture of the model and it will come to the uploader program of the forum.
Click on the 'Add file' box and the picture will go into the reply box where you are typing, you won't see it as a picture here, only as a piece of code, but when you click the submit box, then it will go to the forum thread.
Don't worry too much about your first picture being extremely large, again we can reduce it for you, but there are some hints and tips on this by clicking here...viewtopic.php?f=5&t=21#p117
Regards,

Nick only lists 10 x 24 BPW and those are very rare indeed. I would therefore be sceptical about (which isn't the same as being dismissive of) a 36 tread BPW variation.
What we need are good, close-up (macro) photographs showing the wheels and the machine-rounded (rather than the domed) ends of the axles.

I've reduced the photo size but hard to see tread detail.
Tried lightening photo which does reveal some on the tread detail.

Rodger - thank you for working on my picture. I loaded that one directly from our computer. My wife took several more photos of the van last night, different views and angles and we put them in my photobucket account but I have not yet figured how to load to the site from there. I will work on becoming more adept at adding pictures and want to thank you again for your help. John

Hello again. Is there anything else that I can photograph or describe that will assist those more knowledgeable to deliver an opinion as to the authenticity of this model? Is there any history on the production of this model that would make this variation impossible to have been made this way at the factory? Thank you to all who have looked.

Hello stillhavnfun, once you have selected a picture in your 'Photobucket' album, you will see something similar to the image below...
What you now do is click on the Second option up from the bottom, the One I have highlighted with the Red arrow and you will see it turn temporarily Yellow.
Now go onto the forum, click on 'REPLY' in the thread you want to take part in and click the 'Ctrl' and 'V' keys together on your keyboard, you will then see Two lines of code, as shown in the picture below... What you do now is delete everything I have highlighted in Red by using the backspace key on your keyboard, then click the 'SUBMIT' button.
You can add whatever text you want during this or just go back into your post by clicking on the 'EDIT' button towards the top right of your posting, good luck but do please come back and ask for advice if this does not work for you.
