Reg wrote that "I can get it to the pixie size but how do I reduce the file size" and "Getting the same response even if I use a new photo reduced to 90 pixies".
90 pixels are the width of other members' avatar pictures so the only reason the file is too large must be too high jpg quality....

A general guide is always helpful and maybe as an addition to the pictures thread will help new members and thickies like me
The pixel size is ok it must be the picture quality that's caused the problem now I'm home I'll do some adjustments
Al you are so right about windows, just wished I could have found a new laptop with windows 7

You could ask a service shop to re-install your old 'OS' into your new laptop, but he will charge a lot, or you could ask a friend to do this providing he has the old 'OS' discs available.

picked up a few YY's at a very disappointing Chelmsford fair today
don't usually get these but at £5 for the lot I could not leave them
a nice trade with another member resulted in the 5b
a nice little Benbros from Maidstone a few weeks ago
and finally Ebay provided a Mini Dinky Cadillac and the #70 with the darker yellow body and grey slider

All those 'Yesteryears' for a Fiver, you did well, I would obviously like to see the Rollers and Bentley in the hand, but regards the Y-5 Bentley, can I have a picture of the base please Reg, thanks.

Thanks Reg, as it has the un-common race decal #3, I was hoping it was a late version from 1968-69, but it is not, so you can keep it for your own growing (slowly!), Rolls-Royce and Bentley collection... :D
