I bought one of these a few years ago, and the picture was of one side that showed the bumper also. Looked really nice. I bid and won, but when the van showed up one of the labels was not lined up right and part of it goes to the top of the van. I was disappointed. I cant believe that someone would have applied it that way at the factory, so it probably was done after it left there.

With Lesney there was a percentage of errors, faults and mistakes they were happy to let go, as their returns policy at the retailers was pretty good, but unfortunately, not enough people took their faulty model back to the shop for a replacement (I did in fact get my parents to take them back for a better one), so the quality control at source was not as tight as it could have been and as these were toys afer all, the odd misplaced label or water-slide decal was not a major issue for the workers and if as a worker you took time to replace a misplaced label, you held up your little area of production and you simply could not do this, you had to let the model go down the line with the crooked label and assume quality control would remove the model for rectification later, which they did not always do!!
