MCCH finally called it quits?
Re: Christians site Down ??
Looks like the whole mboxcommunity site is offline. (Sites like this are useful for checking this kind of thing.)
Re: Christians site Down ??
Just realised I'm using a cached page.

Re: MCCH finally called it quits?
Thanks Joe for the clarification regards Christian's site. So, if he is borrowing the same server as MCCH, it would be of no use copying his entire model Data Base website, because I think the copy still requires the use of the server, despite in the blurb for website copying code, the computer storing the 'Copy' does not need access to the internet, however, when I copied our old 'BeFora' site, a lot of it does still work with no connection to the internet, so make of that what you will...!

Re: MCCH finally called it quits?
One form of backup which occasionally occurs is the internet wayback machine... (now officially http://archive.org/web/)

http://web.archive.org/web/201205160139 ... sIndex.htm
Of course, Christian Falkensteiner also seems to have mostly similar...

So likely he has a personal master copy somewhere, and occasionally renders portions of it remotely, with slight differences in presentation.

Re: Christians site Down ??
It's hosted on mark curtis' server and as of a couple days ago was unaffected by the hack to the MCCCP (mcch). It looks like curtis has decided to pay someone to attemt to fix his hacked site and they have probably wiped the sever clean so things can be reloaded. Curtis is unlikely to have backed up Christian's site and it will likely require Christian to reload his site once the server is ready (if curtis keeps the server).
This will require communication between curtis and Christian as well as Christian doing all the work to reload his site. How soon or if any of this will transpire is uncertain. Let's hope that it doesn't turn into another incident like Pat's Box site where it languished off-line from lack of curtis caring. Personally, I think curtis is wasting time and money trying to rebuild his site and that Christian should look for a new less controversial home for his site.

It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

There's a small update on MCCH now. It seems the trojan has been eliminated and restoration work will start.
