An odd one the 5b bus with a 5a paper lable on it both sides.

All 5c models, on the bottom picture, the one on the left shows a very feint line running up the middle of the roof, more noticeable in the hand.?

The 5 line and the 4 line bases, also the 4 line base the casting at the rear is thicker, making the model 1mm longer.

And my favorite 5, my "Players Please" 5c that I was able to marry to what seems to be an uncommon C box showing the correct decal:

Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

a new addition is this one with London Transport decals , I have not seen this before and Nick said they could be from a Y-3 tram model, also he has a #56 trolleybus with them too , I was wondering are there any more like this or is this a later addition by a previous owner

It looks great with that addition but I've got to believe it was a decal swap from a MOY model. I've never seen or heard of such an example before. I certainly wouldn't take it off.

I have to agree about the decal on "Fixer's" example shown earlier, it does look good but I do not think the operators would be able to place these on every model in a central and streight position, these were the 'Toys' from Lesney and the main advertising side label was enough to give the overall impression it is a London Bus. We have many examples of these models (sorry, Toys!), with evidence of badly positioned advert labels, indeed, the example shown does in fact have a badly placed label and yet the 'London Transport' decal is pretty good, so this model has had Two different operators place the labels on the sides, or one of the labels/decals has been added by a previous owner, I am going for the latter, sorry Reg!
