Stingaroo 1973-1976. "Lledo name plate"
Well I'll go to our house and back..Just looked closely at this thinking it would have the Cobra name on the rocker boxes and guess what??. A first mention of Lledo a full ten years before they came out.......Did I miss something here?.Discuss.......

I don't remember another example but I remember we discussed this feature. Was it really that long ago?GHOSTHUNTER wrote:I think there was another incident of this happening but can not remember the details, I seem to recall seeing Two examples possibly on our old forum, anyone else remember?misterpop wrote:Are there anymore do you think?.

That could be it Reg...ANGUS, although I don't know who Angus could be, maybe another toolmaker. By the same token, it is odd that the LLEDO name should appear on the other model because Jack Odell took semi-retirement in 1973, maybe he just had time to do the 'Stingaroo' before leaving!fixer wrote:they all have lledo don't they ?? Re: Stingaroo 1973-1976.
Thanks Johnboy, nice bit of searching, but if the ANGUS is for the Bull mascot, why did the Stingaroo not have SKIPPY on the rocker as there is a Kangaroo mascot on the rear!!
