Who knows the manufacturer and the year of manufacture.

I believe this is 'TOOTSIETOY' and it looks like the name is just visible tucked up behind the front wheels. Early 1960's.

Thank you Ghostery for the help.

I still have a model of Tootsietoy found in my collection.
This U.S.A. RABBIT. This has no similarity in with Jepp.
Except for the axes and the axis fastening.

This is based on the VW Golf/Rabbit car and because of it's market sector, is a bit of a caricature type of model, not a fully detailed rendition of the car. It comes from a substational range of similar cars and trucks, at least 30 subjects in the range including Ford Mustang, Triumph TR3, Jaguar XK140 and Mercedes-Benz coupe.

Don't TootsieToy always stamp their bases? I think this looks very similar to the Midgetoy range
