A couple of additions...

Post by starni999 »

Hi all,

Really liking the Marklin diecast stuff now, picked up this Merc saloon, and an original empty box for the Krupp Waggen, just need the model now, but I never turn down a box at a good price!

Also this lovely Austin in plastic from Hong Kong, still boxed which is sweet...

Re: A couple of additions...Vilmer Tekno JRD etc

Post by starni999 »

Hi all,
Picked up a few more for my "none Dinky" cabinet,

Vilmer / Tekno Ford Thames Wrecker, needs a hook, some string, and a nasty blob of white paint removing from the boom on the other side, but it is truly a thing of beauty, easily as good as a Spot On Thames.....

I don't normally go for restorations, but at £30.00 I couldn't resist this JRD Unic set, only the tractor unit is restored, the trailer needs 12 white tyres, and the wagon load needs a cover...

Finally a Tekno Ford Taunus Transit Ambulance...

I want to get some of the early issues of this Tekno, the liveries are amazing, still need the VW van too, but the prices are saft.

All the best!

Cheers Jeff,
My thoughts exactly, the last 10 years I've been concentrating on Dinky, and the last few years it's been mostly hub colour variations, which are fine, BUT sometimes it's good to just get something completely different. It's a lot more fun opening the package when you've never had that model in your hand before! :D
