I used the recent Huntingdon toy fair to collect a rare card kit Rolls-Royce 'Half-Track' from "Fixer", but as I have stated in another post, this was so rare, it needed Two burly forum members to keep it safe.
"Fixer" was being accompanied by "tjlglass", a beomoth of a man if ever there was one, and as acting bodygaurd to "Fixer" and my parcel, I was confident it was safe and sure enough, it was, you can see pictures of this very rare model here...

I did of course go into the toy fair and have a look and could not let these models go, as they were nice and cheap.

The first model you see in Red at the back is a cheap and nasty Chinese Rolls-Royce DHC, but in it's fairly early 'WELLY' branded box, £2.
Then Two mint in box 'Yesteryears', Y-10 and Y-7, £4 each.
A box-less Y-10 for 50p.
A box-less Duesy for 50p.
...and
A box-less Y-5(B) for 50p.
The box-less Y-10 in Silver-Grey is from the last production period with the modified seat mouldings. If you have these, look at the back of the front seat, you will see a 'Sprue' break-off hole. This is where the seats are mounted on the plastic runners before they are separated by the workers and put into hoppers for the workstation operators to then fit them into the models.
The Yellow arrow shows you where to look for this. These seats appeared during 1982 and can be found on models put into the 1982 'BP' 5 models Gift Set.

Another feature of these late issues, the chassis/baseplate is shorter, but I'll have to try and describe that later with a drawing or pictures.
