some slight paint damage around the rivet which looks flatter than a normal spun one ...evidence of hand finishing ??....

It was the Blue base that caught my attention first, then the regular wheels. I then noticed the clear glazing, looking a bit hand-made as mentioned by "Nearlymint". The base does have text missing and I have 'Photoshopped' an original model's base to show what is missing on the Blue baseplate, below.

"Idris" is right about the box artwork regards a lighter coloured hood component, but all full production models had a Tan hood, changing to Black a little while before the model itself was re-coloured from Blue to 'Gold', so the hood is OK for this model.

No "Fixer" I do not own this model, the picture is internet sourced, but I have no extra details or pictures about the model.

"you just HAD to use the long seat for your photoshop didn't you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"...Without getting my models out and taking a fresh photograph (with flash!), it was the only picture of one of these models on my laptop!

No, I did not keep a link to where that model was and I have had it for a while just as a picture, but thought it might as well be put within the thread as more conversational material.

What we shouldn't forget is that the known pre-productions of this model are yellow with white/ivory interior. Therefore, on reflection, a standard metallic blue body combined with a standard tan interior on what should be a very-early pre-production seems extremely unlikely. The windscreen is also odd? If this is indeed home-made, why not just take a standard one from a beater?
I suppose it's always possible that it's a very early RW baseplate paired with a later, SF body but, even then, the non-standard windscreen remains incongruous.
