dinky military green question

Hi All
I have a question
after visiting a friend Dinky military collection mainly serie 600 I was confused about the different colour green I can spot even between the same or double vehicles
I honestly don't think any or this are restored or repainted as they look a bit chipped and old but is it possible to find few different shades of green between models of the same collection?
why is that ?

Hello Polytoys.

Companies making toys and models on a 'Mass Production' basis (Corgi, Dinky and Matchbox), will rely on more than One paint supplier, plus the production period of some models will show these different paint shades. Have a good look around this forum for examples of similar shade differences on what would at first appear to be the same models.

In addition UK and French military Dinky's have very different base green shades to start with.

The English Dinky for export to the US also have a different colour.
