I'm not a Matchbox expert. But if this is a known but rare variation we should have more pictures to determine if it is, or not, a fake.

Hi James, as you know these are frequently faked, can you ask for more photos, is there any provenance for the model and does the seller have any history or background worth looking at?

No way of telling with 1 photo, best to view these in the hand.

Need better macro images of hubs inside and out and axle ends. Image shown is not in enough detail.
