Peterbilt Tanker no chrome with tampo

Post by Sir_Matchbox_96 »

Hi all,
I got this Matchbox Peterbilt tanker in my last lot. No chrome + tampo printing. Common variation?

Greetings,
Linus

It is a common variation. I like this variation.

Thanks jimgallegos!

I'am a bit confused as vectis sold one of these (with amber windows, which is undisclosed in the description) and call it once a pre production model, otherwise they call it a "final trial run model".

I have 2 different variations of this model as a pre pro.
1) Yellow bonnet top and all caps in the SHELL on the tank
2) As your model but it has a Label instead of tamp. Letters not all caps.

That sounds great! Don't know why Vectis calls my variation a prepro although it is not!
But sometimes I wonder generally what Vectis calls a prepro :D

I will just keep my model because it seems a bit rarer (at least here in germany) than the variations with chrome tanks.

Thanks a lot!

Here is a link to your model on Christian Falkensteiner's site.

Take care and keep collecting.
