I have tried to determin the mould number and it is a letter 'L' or a number '7', depending on the Tan moulding being a letter 'F' or the number '4'.

Thank you Lesney, if it were a 'Pre-Pro' component, it is more likely to have a letter earlier than the 'F' on the Tan moulding, so I am wondering if it is simply a colour trial moulding but rejected as not being a very interesting alternative to the Tan one...!

I don't know if it's my eyes but the plastic looks thinner on the white one
also the corners are sharper

I am concerned that new 3D printers may be capable of churning out moulded plastic parts in any colour combination.

Red came only in a boxed set.

Yes, that is a very valid concern. They should have no problem duplicating these and other parts. I expect one of the replacement parts people will get one soon enough and begin to churn out all sorts of stuff with it.

Now that I see Ghosty's enlarged pic, I've changed my mind again and I'm convinced it's a fake. The ejector rings are just too vague in detail to be real. The real part has crisp sharp ejector rings.

Thanks.
was thinking if the luggage was a pre-pro, why is it white? And we would've heard of this way sooner.
