Casting #41
Casting #41
41a D Type Jaguar, issued 1957, length 55mm, box type B.
41b D Type Jaguar, issued 1960, length 62mm, box types B-C and D.
41c Ford GT, issued 1965, length 67mm, box types E and F.
The open and closed scoop models.
The model on the left with the 10 x 36 gpw tread wheels.
The two different tread Red Wheels, 11.5 x 45, and 11.5 x 72.
With a label #6 Light Blue.
The dark Blue #6 is a Decal, the Light Blue #6 is a Label.
It took me quite a time to find the "B" type base, as Stannards only lists it once.

Re: Casting #41
The only thing I have to add to your usual impressive lineup George is the 41A D-type Jaguar, the very early example without the raised decal guide within the casting.

My 41s:
Kind of a cute thing, the (likely) original owner cut out the catalogue illustration and pasted it on the box:
Wouldn't mind having the other varities of the Jaaaag

Here's a little nugget that might come in useful one day in a pub. quiz. The D-type was preceded by the C-type, but was that therefore descended from the A- and B-types? Rather surprisingly, the answer is "No". The "C" in C-type simply stands for competition and, if memory serves, it has XK120XK140 lineage!
