1972 Corgi Juniors sales display

Post by MrGoodies »

Got this wonderful sales display in the 80´s from a well known UK Matchbox dealer.
Came with complete outer shipping box with adress label from Mettoy to a small UK
toyshop. Was absolutely original filled and brand new condition.

Came from the short collector card era, just before the 1973 cards arrived.
Think, best Whizzwheels era models all included.

absolutely lovely :geek: -the only great casting missing is the Aston DBS - interesting to see those that outlasted it in the range!

What a stunning addition to your collection MrGoodies, a real gem, even without the models this is still a good looking display, bringing back so many Corgi memories for me, thanks for showing it here.

I still have a very detailed early Husky collection, but I never continued with them much into the Corgi Era. What a display you have there Mr. Goodies, and it is filled with models to make any collector smile! I don't remember this style display in our U.S. Woolworths stores, I think they pretty much stayed with carded blisters on pegs instead. Thanks for allowing us to drool over this beauty..... kwakers
