Hey Ghosty - I'm sure if you were clever enough and really wanted to you could wedge a Rolly engine into the Commer too...

Cheers,

It is the Commer Milk Float, all the others can have Rolls-Royce engines.

Ghosty.
You got me on that one Ghosty, I had no idea that with thier own line of engines, as well as Cummings, Detroit Desiel, and Catapiller in the semi truck versions, Dodge would have used a Rolls engine as well.

Even if the engine were not wearing R-R badging, many were made under lisence by companies like Renault, Packard, Fiat, Hispano etc, etc and one popular story I like to relate to is the famous flying Lancaster bomber as part of the R.A.F. 'Battle of Britain' memorial flight. It had Four Rolls-Royce Merlin engines from new, but during the restoration process of this, the only flying Lancaster in Europe, they managed to source Four servicible engines to keep it flying, but only One engine was a Rolls-Royce unit, Two were lisenced engines from other companies and one could not be identified as to who made it...!

Hi all,

now this one is finished as well.
No Rolls-Royce milk float but a Magirus Deutz Fire Engine like the one made by Wiking behind.

Yes I will keep four of them untouched.
The Pontiac will be converted - but not in a Jeep as Ghosty suggested.
