Vectis Deliveries

Post by hydra427 »

All right, it's time to vent a little bit. 4 weeks ago I purchased a few items in the January 29 Vectis Diecast auction and I am still waiting on shipment. I know Vectis sells 1,000's of lots but feel I should have received my cars by now. I know we are all at the mercy of the mail, but it always seems like Vectis takes longer than any other auction house when it comes to shipping. Their packaging is above and beyond so that is never a concern, just their timely deliveries.

Just curious if others have to wait this long or is it just us yanks in the US?

Everything is said !

That's exactly my opinion.

It, moreover, depends on countries customs.
On eof my friend, collecting military toys, won some days a lot in an US auction. The auctioneer wrote "military items" on the big parcel. You easyly imagine the way the customs treated it...

In the world we live in, what auctioneer would be stupid enough to write 'Military Items' on a package with Toys in it? Thank You for that story Fox, my wife and I laughed a lot over that one.... :D kwakers

While I didn't get anything in the Jan. auction, my experience in the past with Vectis for USA shipping is normally 4-6 weeks so not unusual. Hopefully, you have some gems coming your way and your patience will be rewarded....................... :)
