I think that you are right in suggesting that the good collectors in this forum be protected from being taken advantage of.
If I find, or suspect, impropriety, or this seller is not fair with me, you can expect a name.
However, I do not want to see a person blacklisted for an honest mistake.
Thanks, Jason
(let me know if you change your mind on that GPW Euclid)
Jason we are not in the habit of black listing anybody on this forum without good cause.......... that said if you uncover convincing evidence of deliberate deception (in other words Fraud) you will be doing the Matchbox collector Community a great favour in exposing this culprit! And should the seller decide to defend their actions then invite them to contribute their reasons publicly on the forum!!!

Good Lad, and please take comfort that you are not the first, or the last Matchbox collector that has been caught out by a deliberate deception.

Great photos - this looks like the high gloss acetone based industrial use concrete paint which wasnt something available in local DIY stores! Vastly superior even coverage and shine so carefully applied it was clearly made to deceive but when it was made is anybody´s guess - could be anytime since the day it left the factory rather than in 2014!

Stephan, are you saying this one is a fake too?
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

I came across a GPW 25c tanker a few years ago at a toy show that had its wheels painted. I caught it before I laid out any money. The junk is out there.

I am sure Stephan also has his doubts on this one's originality based on Jaskelrod's perfectly painted GPW wheel model he featured earlier on this post. IT SHOCKED US ALL, AND I KNEW WHO THE SELLER WAS IMMEDIATELY......
My friend Jaskelrod has not ever posted the results for us of his refund request, so I am now left wondering about this German offering. I would be checking this German model's details very closely if I were interested in finding that very pricey rare GPW variation.
My opinion is that I would rather have this model's casting details discussed and picked apart by Forum members while it is 'live' on E Bay BEFORE it closes, rather than see another member duped into a possible 'fake' again. Is this German offering possibly too original to openly discuss here?
Hang me right alongside Stephan if his post of this live auction and my followup question seem foolish. A sweep of a moderator's wand can make Stephan's post and any further discussion of this second Dump Truck disappear. kwakers
