These are very nice castings in proper 1/64 scale - I also have one example of each of these but my TR6 is BRG and my BMW2002 is orange. Some of the other models like the 1971 Mustang Mach 1 are superb and at just over £1 each they are far too nice to walk away from for folks who like classic cars!

Unbelievable Fixer. I'm never going to be able to read your posts in the same light as before. I always thought you were a purist!!
In future please respect this forum, all confessions are to be made on a Sunday not Tuesdays!

Cheers, Steve

I'm trying to resist but as Mick said they do some nice classics you cannot find small scale anywhere else..... If you sin as much as me a daily confession is needed

Confession is GOOD for the soul!
It is understandable that you would desire these castings especially if you like Datsuns! I must also confess that I have a FEW Hot Wheels including some Datsun 240Z's (one of my all time favorites including a real one in my garage).
It appears that Hot Wheels are producing some very cool licensed models -- which I prefer in general vs. the current direction of Matchbox (generic adventure models-- I'm not a fan :( ).
I will continue to stay totally LOYAL to Matchbox due to their great history, but won't hesitate to buy another diecast if the model is desirable and well done.
Thanks for sharing!

WHAT IS HAPPENING, ARE MY EYES DECEIVING ME, A FEW FORUM MEMBERS NOW OWNING-UP TO HAVING 'HOT WHEELS' MODELS...SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY LIKE THEM...

OH! how the well established VBD Forum's walls are being shaken at this time, my dear brothers, I am praying for you to find it in your hearts to repent these feelings of 'LIKE' for another while those you have loved before are now cast aside like trash...!

Come back-in my dear and needy brothers, all is not lost, we can save you from this sinning, but you must open up your souls to us and be brave, we can turn you back from your demons.

My brother, you speak of unatainable treasures, not for the gentle beings we are. These treasures are for the Kings of Country and will corrupt your sanity if you behold such Holy Grails.

 ghosty

i was the target age for hot wheels when they first came out...and i had some of them...also the transitional superfasts...but aging and other things took me away from playing with these toys at around 1972...but now i will buy them as i buy lesney matchbox if the price is right...still have three hot wheels i got as a kid

it was 1969 and i remember being in 3rd grade at christmas time going to the schools christmas party and went to see santa and told him what i wanted and he gave me a little present...i couldnt imagine what it was...but im sure i wasnt 5 steps away from santa before i tore that little package open...and lo and behold it was one of those new hot wheels...it was glorious...a blue turbofire...it looked like a corvette to me...a custom one but thats what it reminded me of...wish i still had it

funny how hot wheels had the spectraflame paint the three i still have dont have that paint...two are white enamel and one of chrome...jack rabbit special and the pit crew car are white enamel and the heavy chevy is chrome and was a mail in to the hot wheels club

picked up a few at the last kday a couple weeks ago...but i also sold some errors to a guy who collects them who was there that day...i made 12 bucks...most money ive made in two years

my main interest is the 66 tv batmobile that hot wheels makes...i have well over 100 of them in different variations...and there are at least three rare ones i would like to have...but they are expensive
