IMPY

Post by Bob/Ohio »

Looking through some of my "other brand" diecast, and found this IMPY tanker. Would like to know about what year it was made. It is in very minty condition, looks like it was never played with. The base says "Made in England"-''Lone Star"-"Impy"-"Road Master"-"Super Cars". Quite a bit of information on the base.

Thanks
Bob

Bob this is part of the Lone Star impy commercials range the Foden cab and base was used with three different bodies the tanker that you have also a container/box lorry and a tipper , yours has the later speedwheels not sure about the year of manufacture
here's a link to a Lone Star site which shows some of the models available ' I must admit to having a soft spot for the impy and flyers cars

just scoll down to the blue highlighted boxes and click on them to take you to the relevant section

Well, I wanted more from "Fixer" he's a good Boy in class and is learning most of what I teach him, but he seems to have not listened in the last lesson about those 'IMPY' versions or he's forgotten, ah well, I suppose I could lay down a ton of info (that's gonna take too long...) or I could just link to something from an earlier thread... 8-)

Let's try this...viewtopic.php?f=21&t=3163&start=10#p31487

Ghosty,
Sometimes the teacher has to get out the ruler and give the students a whack on the knuckles to make them pay attention in class!
