#59-G Porsche 928

Post by Satiainen »

Hi!
I really became inspired to check my Superfast models closer today. I didn't find this 928 variation anywhere. First I thought it's the normal red interior -variation but no, the windows are red, interior is tan. No similar things in Google pic search either. Are these red windows later production or what it really is?

they do look darker than the normal amber windows , I don't think these came with red ones could they be a very dark amber or maybe the effects of sunlight

Matias the glass certainly looks like it is a Dark amber and if you look at the baseplate, this is what is known as a silver painted base!! :D

Hi Matias

The amber glass by the blue Model is unusual and certainly a estimated Variant.Red seats are very rare to find.

Cheers Mathias

Hi,
Thank you for your answers!
This dark amber glass really stands out of my other 928s with normal amber glass. However this is the only blue one with coloured windows I have and it will of course stay in my collection.
Yes Mathias, you're right. Red interior must be hard to find for these Lesney-models. I have used to see them in later Macau-made Porsches but not in the original ones.

Christian's pages are really great and I've used them a lot!
