The car looks like a Baby Austin (A30?).

Yes, you are correct. It is an A30 not an A40.
I’ve had a look at the dimensions of the two vehicles and they stack up as follows:
A30 Wheelbase 79.5” Length 138.5” Width 55”
A7 80.2” 120.2” 55”
Neither wheelbase nor width would be an issue, but length would. The Wolseley and Riley variants would be a better fit with an overall length of 130”, but obviously they aren’t Austin 7s. The estate and van versions also come in significantly longer at 129.9” but have a slightly longer wheelbase of 84.2”

What we really need to know is whether there are Bradscar A30 models with A30 baseplates or whether all of them read Austin 7.

The car was effectionatly known as a 'Baby Austin' by it's owners, my Father had the A30 with the small rear window (A35's have the large rear window and a different position for the fuel filler), and as Bradshaw Model Products the maker of these 'BRADSCAR' models, were primarily a model railway dealer and supplier, these cars were a totally new product line for them and the range of models they made were limited (don't have my detailed info with me at the moment), but I believe the translation of a 'Baby Austin' was mistakingly applied to the model thinking that was it's correct name, because they would have been aware of the 'Baby Austin' moniker applied to the Austin 7 and just confused the Two.

I think we may have discussed Bradscar models on Lefora. I have the idea that someone (Tim?) found a number of them and that, following discussions, we decided that there were only four models in the range. Does this ring any bells with anyone?
I know that in addition to the Austin A30, there was also a Riley (RME?) and a Morris Six.

I have seen a photograph of a Jaguar, but it was plastic bodied.

In the scheme of things they were a minor manufacturer and the models don't appear very often so I would say they are at least htf imho. They're not like diecast that just have Made in England on the baseplate (which can fall under the radar quite easily on auction sites), they have the branding on them so you would expect more of them to pop up on ebay if they were about in any number.

Just an extra note it is very heavy for its size more like white metal type of models Ghosty thought it could be an earlier version of such

Some nice finds there, especially the Bradscar A30. When the A30 originally appeared it was marketed as the New Seven, and in a lot of contemporary advertising it's named as the Austin A30 Seven. Of course, they went on to do the same thing with the Austin Seven Mini a few years later.
