Just got two of these second issues and noticed that they have different steering wheels. Is this common ?

Hello Tim, yes, this is a common variation and the steering wheel you have spotted (the model on the Right in your picture), was borrowed form the Y-10 Mercedes model in the same range. It was fitted to the Bentley from 1968 onwards and so far, I have 9 versions of the Bentley with what I call the Mk2 steering wheel design.

Thanks Kev, they both have the number 3 decal which I believe is harder to find but you would say they are both sort of common ?

No, in fact the number '3' decal is un-common and I would like to see more of the models, as there is a number '3' decal version I am chasing for my collection, so maybe pictures of the base and handbrake lever would be handy.

Tim
if you come across a No. 6 model but without holes in the base I'm chasing one. Never see bases half the time on Ebay.

The only example I've seen was in the Dunkley sale. I want one too
