I love that giftset Linus, it's so iconic of the period (if you know what I mean) :)

Nice finds! I really like the Roller and the Unimog, I have never seen those models before. I need to keep an eye out for those two.

Hi all!

Thanks for your kind comments!
Hallo Linus

schönes Giftset.Hast Du das aus der französischen Bucht ? Da tauchen diese Tankstellen öfters auf.

Gruss Mathias
Hallo Mathias, danke für das Interesse. Ich habe es aus NRW erhalten. Habe zuvor noch nie eine mit cremefarbenen Teilen gesehen!
Beste Grüße,
Linus

Yes Johnboy, I can imagine this! :D

Here is another Matchbox BP toy:
Major Pack M-1b
I was looking very long for that one (knobbly black plastic wheels + silver trim to bumper). They seem to be a bit harder to find here in Germany. Also lots of blurred ebay pictures, so you weren't able to distinguish fine tread from knobbly tread wheels. The early Box is an update, too.

Have a nice weekend,
Linus

Hi all,
here are my latest finds from the last two weekends.
Both Major Pack Tanks with grey plastic rollers, Rw Mercedes and Sf iron crane are updates. I'am very happy with the pony trailor in first Sf colour and the Greyhound bus with red axle clips.
Metallic blue Renault is a James Bond edition or something like that, I'm not sure on this one.
King Size caterpillar with blade has metalrollers, so this one will fill another gap, as I only have one with red plastic rollers.
King Size K8 single trailer has the harder to find long decals, I luckily had a Scammel Tractor and a caterpillar (in same condition :D ), so I was able to make the trio complete.
That's my first lambretta and it's just awesome!

Greetings,
Linus

Mike I assume you're talking about the difference in the colour in the highlighted areas, it's just the camera flash

Linus, I note you have a #66 with the harder to find rear red double axel clip. You may be interested in the following posting on that very subject.

Hi!
The area highlighted by Mike is light from a halogen lamp (model back) and the area at the other tank (model front) is daylight from my Window. Depends on the angled baseplates of the centurion tanks.
Hope you noticed the grey rollers on the tanks, too :D

Thanks for your kind comments guys! Always welcome :)

Greetings,
Linus
