I read that title to my wife and then added "Who in their right mind would pay that kind of money for toys".

I bought all those toys for my boy after going to the premier of Star Wars - he promptly destroyed them all !!! I still have an original technical drawing framed from the design studio for R2D2 somewhere. I also made him a big star base out of paper mache for him to play with them on ( took me bloody weeks ) and he managed to kill that as well - who needs a Death Star when there are small kids around !

Hi all what a silly price but there must have been two bidders there that wanted it or £18,000 was the reserve didn't Vectis sell a large scale dump truck for £10,500 a few years ago. Looked at some of their sales yesterday prices seem to be good & there was nothing mint box there Pete
