Here are Two boxes with some of the models identities from the 'D' number range...

...do any of those models appear as "Matchbox" originals?

The discription of some of the models certainly match MATCHBOX models by name but without
visuals it will be hard to define as to whether they are direct coppies, the dump truck that i
have has the No P130.

Here is a link to what on the face of it seems to be a good 'ZEE' website...

For a slightly better view of the images on the above 'ZEE' website, click on the settings box at top right corner of your screen and an options menu will drop down. Here you can Zoom in or out, but remember to put it back to normal as everything else will likely be too big on your screen.

Very interesting, Zylmex made some nice models, My favourite has to be the Supervan which was based on a real vehicle and featured in the film 'Supervan', But the 'Firebirds' are a copy of the Thunderbirds, The army hospital items from the Mash set are nice but I have to wonder who would have actually gone out and bought the latrine set.
Here son, I bought you a present,......Oh Sh*t.

Did you not build a similar looking vehicle a few years ago Nick. I seem to recall some images you posted on the old forum of a rather futuristic looking project you were working on?

Yes, I remember that and I have found a picture of it with a Young Nick standing by the front, shame we can't see more of the Van and I don't think Nick should have had that Mastouche, but he had nice Legs then...
