I know the C is bigger then the B but is there anyway to tell which is which when looking at separate photos of each of them when they aren't side by side?
I guess I have the same question for the 8B and 8C Tractors!?

The easiest way to tell the difference if they are being viewed in the hand is the 8b and 18b only have crimped axles.
The 8c and 18c have rounded axles.
Sometimes an online photo only shows the large dome end so the crimped or rounded end may not be visible.
In that case there are a few other ways to spot the differences.
The 18b blade side has small pips representing nuts or bolts but the 18c is smooth.
The distance between axle centres.
The driver hat size and the air filter size.
18b also has number on back of the blade whereas the 18c has no text on blade.
Smoke stack size also differs ever so slightly.
Let me know if you would like a photo to explain.
