Yellow Rover 3500

Post by RacingFreak »

Hello everyone,

I have decided to put one of my yellow Rover 3500's for sale on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251801925525

While this was not an easy decision, I decided to go for it after all. If someone from the forum is interested in it, I'm OK with a deal outside eBay. Any offers are welcome as £300.00 is not necessarily accurate value, due to the condition of the model.

Thanks.

So sorry to hear this sort of news, but as has been mentioned elsewhere on the forum, it is your property and you can do what you feel is best. I sadly can not justify such a sum on One model car, but I do hope you can benefit from the sale of it, good luck.

Ghosty.

I seriously thought that this Yellow Rover was from a Gift Set!
I too agree that your ask-price is quite high via Ebay yet thats the better platform to dispose of it for a quicker sale.Perhaps lower it to a more pleasing & attractive sum with the offer option. All the luck.
...just honestly saying.

Mint boxed, these are about £200-£250 so I think your price is a little high but that's just my opinion.

Hi all, thanks for your replies, the reason I did set high initial price is that eBay takes out 10% of the final sum so if I sell for £220, I will have to pay £22 in taxes + bank fees when paying them (thanks eBay). While it still didn't sell, I re-listed it again for a month, for £200, so if it doesn't sell during this period I will just keep it. If someone from here is interested in it or some other model I did show, feel free to PM me. I would absolutely prefer to have a deal outside eBay any time.

Thanks for your input!
