Ghosty.
Thank you Ghosty.

A: AHI Brand Toys from the 50s.

I have seen some plastic commercial vehicles about the same size and they appeared to be poor quality copies of 'AHI' models.

'ZEE INTERNATIONAL' are a very big Asian toy company and they used the 'ZYLMEX' brand name for many Years during the 70's and into the 80's, but the name seems to have been given less prominence and phased out of use around 1982 and models still being made had the tooling modified to blank-out the 'ZYLMEX' name, but on many models, the circular 'Z' logo was left on baseplates.

Their product line included several 'Inspired-by' or 'Direct Copies' of models in the market place from the well established brands, including "Matchbox" and you can see that the Dumper Truck above is based on, or directly copied from the "Matchbox" example because it is so good, compaired to models actually originated by 'ZEE' themselves.

Hello Dave.

I don't currently have a full listing of the 'ZEE-ZYLMEX' models range on this laptop I am having to use, while my #1 laptop is having it's Hard Drive ripped out, but will look into it for you and see if I can find others.
